Pizza Zeina, Caracas

Pizza Zeina no es en realidad una pizzería y no sé por qué tiene la palabra pizza en el nombre, pero eso no importa porque lo importante es la increíble comida. Pizza Zeina es un restaurante muy sencillo de comida árabe en el medio de Chacao. Es un pequeño lugar sin decorado con 10 mesas más o menos. No soy gran fanática de la cocina árabe, pero la de este lugar es diferente: es asombrosa y la amo. Yo creo que en este lugar hacen los mejores platos libaneses de este país. Toda la comida es maravillosa; puedes probar todo el menú si quieres pero mis favoritos son: el chanclish (una ensalada que parece tener queso, tomates y especias), el kibbe crudo y sus increíbles cremas de berenjena y pimentón. Yo recomiendo el yogurt con yerbabuena que es una buena bebida para disfrutar con la comida. Comer en este lugar se siente como comer en el patio de una casa vieja de un amigo. Otra cosa importante es que el precio no es para nada caro (¡Síi!) y esta ubicado en un buen lugar cerca del metro y le puedes llegar a pie.    

Pizza Zeina is not actually a pizzeria and I don’t know why it has the word pizza in its name, but it doesn’t matter because the important thing is the incredible food. Pizza Zeina is a very simple Arabic restaurant in the middle of Chacao. It’s a small and unadorned place with 10 tables more or less. I’m not the biggest fan of Arabic cuisine, but the food in this place is just different: it’s amazing and I love it. I think that in this place they make the best Lebanese dishes in this country. All the food is wonderful; you can try the entire menu if you want, but my favourites are: the chanclish (a salad which seems to have cheese, tomatoes, onions and spices), raw kibbe and their incredible eggplant and red peppers creams. I recommend the yogurt with peppermint that is a very nice drink to enjoy with the meal. Eating in this place feels like eating at the backyard of a good friend’s old house. Another important thing to know is that the price is not expensive at all (Yeah!) and it’s located in a good place near the subway and you can arrive by foot.
